First of all, we have already sent out emails to the Rebirth backers, the backers involved in creating a new scene with us (Flower of the battlefield etc) requesting details about the unit or scene.

All backers involved in the money pool should have also received an email regarding their votes which will be used to decide which character will feature in the new scene!

Therefore, if you have backed the money pool tiers or any of the tiers that involve Rebirth and/or the creation of a new scene, please do check your email inbox!

As for the rest of our lovely backers, we hope that you are as excited as we are to find out who the winner of the money pool poll will be!

Ymir’s Birthday!

Today is Ymir's birthday, folks!

Loki's reliable yet mysterious older brother was born on the 16th day of the Fire Moon Phase according to the VenusBlood Calender (16th January for us on Earth).

Now then, a simple introduction about the role Ymir plays in VenusBlood FRONTIER.

He is the oldest among all the heirs to the throne of Utgard. Although he has a gentle disposition that some consider unbecoming of a demon, his true nature is that of an unparalleled tactician.

We at Ninetail hope that you will celebrate his birthday together with us today and look forward to his appearance in the upcoming English Edition of VenusBlood FRONTIER slated for a December 2019 release!

頼りがいのある、何気にミステリアスな雰囲気を纏ったロキの兄、イミルはVBFの暦で火の月の16日（地球の暦で1/16 ）生まれです。

さて、誕生日を迎えた イミルについて簡単に紹介していきたいと思います。

イミルはウトガルドの魔王継承候補者の長男であり、候補者の中では最も年長。魔族に似つかわしくない柔和な性格であるが、その本質は深淵を見通す比類なき策略家。

Final Update of 2018

Hello, everybody! This will be the final update of 2018 and we have some really exciting news that we would like to share!  

First off, the total amount we have managed to raise is 27,600,000 yen, which means...

That is correct, we have indeed managed to hit the 4th Stretch Goal! With this Stretch Goal, there will be a completely new episode and scenario added to VenusBlood FRONTIER featuring a never before seen character, the Imperial Queen Disir! Truly a cause for celebration.

Now then, some news for the Money Pool backers. After calculating the amount collected via the Money Pool pledges, there was enough for a single fulfilment of the Untold Tales of Yggdrasil.

With this, we will contact the backers of the money pool tiers around January 2019 for their votes on which character they would like to see featured. After we tally the votes and announce the winner, we will then ask the same backers for suggestions for what kind of scene they would like to see the chosen character feature in. (These scene suggestions will be reviewed and a selection of them will be included in a final poll for the money pool backers to vote on)

Pre-Order Store Re-Opening

We have received a multitude of requests from fans requesting for an extension to the time period that the pre-order store is open. After careful consideration, we have decided to re-open the pre-order store, and we will leave it open until April 2019.

However, due to logistical concerns, we will no longer be accepting pledges related to the Money Pool or any that involve creating a new character or scene (eg. Rebirth, Flower of the Battlefield etc).

During this period, we will also accept requests from existing backers to upgrade their pledge, with the exception of upgrading to the above-mentioned pledges. Otherwise, to those of you who have already kindly pledged to this project...Thank you all so very much! We couldn't have come this far without the love and support of all our lovely fans! 

We definitely hope that you are all as excited for the game as we are working to bring it to you! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, folks! Here's to another great year in 2019.

今回のアップデートは2018年の最終アップデートになりますが、素晴らしい情報をお届けしたいと思います！

さて、最初にお伝えしたい情報は、今回のキックスターターの最終的な支援到達金額です。

今回のプロジェクトはなんと、結果的におよそ￥27,600,000を集めることができました！

そう、ストレッチゴール#4を達成しました！  

これを機に、その内容も紹介したいと思います！  

完全新規のバトルエピソード、「動乱の追憶」が本編に追加される上に、 魔王継承三姉妹の母親である「ディーシル」が新規ユニット・キャラクターとして登場します！

それでは、次は資金プールにプレッジしてくれたバッカー達へのお知らせです。

資金プールへのプレッジを計算した結果、追加されるシーンは一つのみとなります。

本来は12月に予定していたのですが、集計に少し時間がかかってしまいましたので、1月に資金プールのバッカー達にキャラクター投票に関する連絡をさせていただきます。

１位を取ったキャラクターが決まった次第、希望するシーンの提案などを募集し始めます。（希望を聞いてからninetailが追加できそうなシチュエーションを検討し、追加するシーン投票を行います）

プレーオーダーストアの再開！

プレーオーダーストアの開催期間を延長して欲しいという要望がいくつかあったため、 プレーオーダーストアを再開します。（４月末日まで予定）

しかし、異世界転生や新しいシーン制作系（資金プール含み）のプレッジはこれ以上受付しません。

Hey there, everyone! Hope the winter season is treating you all well. We have some news that we would like to share with you all!

First of all, we will be contacting Rebirth backers in the coming days regarding unit details. We will also be contacting backers of the money pool tiers regarding information regarding the character voting process as well as collecting suggestions and requests for what kind of scene they want to see. (These scene suggestions and requests will be reviewed and a selection of them will be included in a final poll for the money pool backers to vote on)

As for information regarding the total amount raised from the Kickstarter campaign and Backerkit + Pre-order Store, we plan to release a final update for the year next week with that information. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

It's Fena and Menia's Birthday Today!

 That's right folks, the birthday girl, or rather, girls today are Fena and Menia!

These lovely, foxy twins were born on the 35th day of the Dark Moon Phase according to the VenusBlood Calender (20th December for us on Earth).

Now then, we'd like to give a simple introduction as to the role the two birthday girls play in VenusBlood FRONTIER.

Firstly, Fena, the younger twin.

She is a maid who has continued to serve the Muspelheim family despite its fall from grace. Ever devoted, she has been by Loki's side for many years as a caretaker and mentor, teaching him studies, etiquette, as well as about women. She is one of the very few people Loki trusts implicitly.

And next, Menia, the older twin.

As opposed to her younger twin sister who continues to serve the fallen house of Muspelheim, Menia is the secretary of the Dark Lord Surt himself. She carries out his orders with ruthless efficiency, and although she is Fena's older twin sister, they have a stormy relationship and barely interact with each other.

We at Ninetail hope that you will celebrate their birthdays together with us today and look forward to their appearance in the upcoming English Edition of VenusBlood FRONTIER slated for a December 2019 release!

フェーナとメ二アと誕生日！

今日はなんと、フェーナさんとメニアさんの誕生日ですよ！

この狐耳のクールビューティーの双子はVBFの暦で闇の月35日（地球の暦で12/20）生まれです。

さて、誕生日を迎えたお二人について簡単に紹介していきたいと思います。

まずは妹の方のフェーナ。

ムスペルヘイム家を長らく仕えたメイドであって、今なお当主であるロキに仕えている。メイドではあるがロキに対して勉学や礼儀作法、果ては基本的な魔術操作や女性について教え込むなど師的な側面も強い。ロキが心から信頼できる数少ない人物の一人です。 

次は姉の方のメニア。

妹と違って落ちぶれたムスペルヘイムの当主を仕えているのではなく、魔王スルトの命令を淡々とこなす冷徹な秘書。フェーナの姉でありながら、仲は険悪で、現在ではお互いほぼ交流がない。

Hey there, folks! Some really exciting news as well as an important reminder for all you lovely backers today.

First off, we would like to ask those of you who have not yet answered the Survey to please answer it as soon as possible. The deadline to answer the survey is until the end of this month(November), so please don't forget!

Also, anybody who has sent us a direct payment via PayPal will also be added to the backerkit as a backer, so please answer the survey that will be sent to your email address.

Translation Terminology Changes

Now, I'm sure after the last update, many of you harbor concerns and quite a few of our backers have sent us feedback regarding the terminology changes.

Taking all of the feedback into consideration, we have discussed this matter with all the staff involved in the VBF localization project and have decided to make the following changes.

Monster Realm will be returned to the Demon Realm, and depending on the context of the story/situation, Monsters will instead be translated as Demons.

What do we mean by 'depending on the context', you might ask?

Specifically, Loki and the other members of Utgard royalty, as well as certain units/characters, will be referred to as Demons while beasts, demihumans and other units will be referred to as Monsters.

As for the rest of the terminology changes, our translator Arunaru and editor Ryechu are working together to look them over once more and revise them.

Official Doujinshi Update

Many of you might be wondering what exactly the "Official Doujinshi" that comes with the artbook after we achieved the 2nd stretch goal is. 

Well...It's a collection of (Slightly NSFW) doujin stories featuring VBF heroines, and today we would like to introduce 2 guest artists whose work will be featured in the official doujinshi in the form of original VBF doujin stories!

Our first guest artist is 白家ミカ(Shiroie Mika)(@siroiemika), and he is a member of the doujin circle "駄肉家さん" (Danikuya-san) and has worked with us before as one of the artists for both VenusBlood FRONTIER and GAIA.

It would make sense that he would choose Fenrir. After all, he was the original artist for Fenrir who appears in VenusBlood FRONTIER!

And next, we would like to introduce you to our second guest artist!

Our second guest artist is ふじのん(Fujinon)(@hujinon), and he is a member of the doujin circle "fishbone".

それ以外の単語チョイスは現在、翻訳者Arunaruと編集者Ryechuによるさらなるブラッシュアップをする予定です。
