Some rather...unfortunate news today.
Let’s not beat around the bush, there is a very high probability that the STEAM version of Venusblood FRONTIER International will be delayed.
It would seem we may have been a little too optimistic when it came to the STEAM review process, because as it stands right now, the game has already been rejected once, and we are currently working on the updated build for STEAM. As a result of this, we may not be able to release the STEAM version on the promised date of December 20th...
For backers of the JAST USA version and the JP DLsite version, rest assured that even if the STEAM version is delayed, we will not push back the release of these two versions and you will get them on the promised release date. Physical goods including the physical edition of VBFI will also be shipped on time without any delays.
As for our backers who have chosen the STEAM key, we are very, very sorry and we sincerely apologise for this delay. We will release the game on STEAM as soon as it is approved.
Should anyone who pledged for a STEAM key wish to change their digital key to a JAST one, we will accept such requests.
We will be accepting requests to change a STEAM key to a JAST key until the STEAM release is approved and made public.
Please contact us and let us know if you wish to change your STEAM digital key.

On a happier note, we have already begun to ship out all of your physical goodies!
Your packages! Sensitive information has been blanked out
According to the post office, your packages should arrive at your doorstep before Christmas, but as always, shipping times and arrival dates will vary depending on where you live.
Please keep an eye out for your packages. Should a package be returned to us due to a failed delivery, you will be responsible for the full cost of re-delivery.
We will also not be able to hold on to returned packages for extended periods of time, so if we do not hear from you for a long time, we may have no choice but to cancel your order without issuing a refund.
And so, we stress once again, please keep an eye out for your package. If it does not arrive after an extended period of time, we would recommend looking into whether there were any problems with customs and such before contacting us.
And one last thing. We made sure to hand-pack every single package with the utmost care, and made sure to double check its contents before closing it up and shipping it out...However, there is always a very small chance that you may end up receiving the wrong items or maybe even missing some items. Well, the digital version is slated to release on December 20, and the physical version with all your goodies...Should also arrive on your doorstep on December 20th! However, please do understand that depending on where you live, delivery times and such may vary, and this arrival date is not guaranteed. It is simply an estimate for the day your package will arrive.

Disir’s Birthday
Incidentally, today is Disir’s birthday, folks!
The Golden Heroine was born on the 18th day of the Dark Moon Phase (3rd December for us on Earth).
Now then, a simple introduction about the role Disir plays in VenusBlood FRONTIER International.
“Hey, you lot, today is my Birthday! Who am I, you ask? Listen well...I am Disir! The one known as the Golden Heroine, the princess of the Demon Realm and the mother of Hel, Fenrir and Jorm! Don’t you forget it...”
Once the Princess of the Utgardian Empire, Disir is the daughter of Surt and is Farba’s older sister. She is also the mother of Hel, Fenrir and Jorm.
In her prime, she was considered to be the heir who would succeed the throne of Utgard, and she was an unparalleled warrior with uncontested might.
Due to reasons known only to herself, she challenged Surt, who at the time was considered the strongest in all of the Demon Realm, to a fight, and died in a blaze of glory as the result of their conflict.

We have an important announcement today regarding the Kickstarter physical version of VBFI.
For those who did not pledge for a physical version of VBFI, you can safely ignore this announcement.
Due to an unforeseen problem with the internal systems of VBFI, we have had to recreate the Master Build of VBFI to only include the English and Japanese installers for backers of the physical edition.
We discovered at the last minute a small problem with the data for the Chinese version of VBFI and, as a result, we have had to pull all of the data from the Kickstarter physical edition.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience, and we apologize to those of you who were looking forward to getting the Chinese version alongside the other two in the KS physical edition.
For those of you who are looking to get your hands on a CN version of VBFI, we are very sorry, but we will have to ask you to be patient and wait for the STEAM release.
For any one who wishes to play the game in Chinese and whose pledge only contains the physical version and no STEAM key, we will add a STEAM key to your order free of charge upon request, so please contact us separately.
