A huge update today, and one packed with announcements I’m sure many of you have been hoping for!
So, without further ado...
VenusBlood FRONTIER International STEAM Page Update!
I'm sure many of you are wondering about what exactly is going on with the Steam page, right?
Well, the steam page for VenusBlood FRONTIER International is currently undergoing review, and should hopefully be up soon!

Ninetail Discord Server
There is now a Ninetail discord server!
It is a place for fans of our games to mingle, maybe you’ll be able to chat with others who share the same love and excitement for the same things, and if you ever get stuck in the game, there will surely also be some veterans who may be able to give you some useful tips for clearing the game!

*Note: While Ninetail staff may visit the discord every so often, there is no guarantee that they will respond to any/every question asked. This Discord is meant more for fans to gather and talk to each other than as a way to contact staff for support. You can read more about this under the #welcome channel in the Discord server.
VBFI Chinese Version Announcement
VenusBlood FRONTIER Chinese Edition Announcement!
Originally VBFI was planned to be released in both English and Japanese, and now we are happy to announce that there will also be a CN version available on STEAM, released on the same day as the English and Japanese version!**
Oh, and the Chinese Version of VBFI will be localised by Kagura Games!
*If your digital game key is a STEAM key, you should be able to access the Chinese version by setting your STEAM region locale to China.
**Like with the STEAM English Version, the release date is tentative at best and dependant on Steam’s review of VBFI.
Now then, a bit of surprise information for everyone who pledged for the physical edition of VBFI exclusive to the Kickstarter...
Exclusive to the CD inside of those physical editions are 3 different installers for VBFI!
What do we mean by that? Well, you know how the Kickstarter for VBFI was funded by backers from all over the world who may not all speak English?
In order to not let them feel like they need to buy another version of the game just to play it in their preferred language (Japanese/Chinese), we have decided to include the installer for all 3 languages on one CD! Yes, you can install and play VBFI in any of the 3 languages as long as you were one of those who pledged for a physical copy!
Now, a quick word of warning:
Save data is NOT compatible between the different languages, so please make sure that you install the version that you wish to play and stick with for the long term, okay?
Master Build Nearing Completion!
Now then, with all the above being said, we have one last piece of good news!
Yes, we are nearing the completion of the Master Build!
For those who may not know what a master build is, it is basically the completed game data. It will be copied and is used to produce all copies of the game to be sold in stores or online!
The game is still undergoing testing right now, but it’s definitely nearing completion, slowly but surely. We hope you’re as excited as we are as solid progress is being made!
Surt’s Birthday
Incidentally, today is Surt’s birthday, folks!
The Infernal Emperor of Utgard was born on the 1st day of the Dark Moon Phase (16th of November for us on Earth).
Now then, a simple introduction about the role Surt plays in VenusBlood FRONTIER.
“Tonight is the birthday of the Dark Lord! And to think that the second coming of Ragnarok would be so close at hand...Heh heh, It has been forever since I was last so fraught with anticipation! My subjects, the promised day is at hand...We must wait but a little while longer.”
He who rules over the demon realm, the old and ruthless high king who has aged...Surt is none other than the ruler of the Utgardian Empire.
Even among all demonkind who live long lives, he is the oldest living demon, and his strength is said to rival that of the evil gods. Despite his old age, it is said that he alone could push back an entire army the moment he unsheathes his sword.
We at Ninetail hope that you will celebrate his birthday together with us and look forward to his appearance in the International Edition of VenusBlood FRONTIER, which is slated for a December 20, 2019 release!

Good day, folks!
Just a quick update today.
First of all, VenusBlood FRONTIER has been fully translated AND edited! Hooray!
As a result, we have now entered the bug testing phase as we work towards a master build and eventual release! We certainly hope you’re all looking forward to it!
Also, now that we have finalised backer addresses, we are also about to begin preparations for boxing the goods and rewards to be shipped in December!
We hope that you are all as excited as we are for the upcoming release of VBFI!
Remaining New Commander Units SD Character Reveal!
Of all the new commander units, we have only revealed the SD unit for the Bride of Thunder, Thor...And we’re sure many of you are curious as to what the others might look like?
Well, today we would like to share an in-game screenshot featuring all the new commander units in a single squad!
Don’t they all look great? We hope that you show them plenty of love in-game by using them a lot after VBFI is released!

Good day, everyone.
Just a quick announcement today.
Everyone's orders have been tallied and manufacturing of the physical goods has begun. As such, we will need to lock in everyone's address in order to ensure the goods are sent to the right place.
This weekend on Saturday (26th October JST), we will be sending out an email via Backerkit requesting final confirmation for your current address. This is the address that your goods will be sent to in December.
After the email has been sent out, you have 48 hours to make changes to your registered address before it is automatically locked.
Digital-only backers are not required to submit an address, and thus do not need to do anything.

First off...
VenusBlood FRONTIER International Edition Release Date Revealed!
That is correct, today we would like to announce the official release date planned for VBFI! And that date is...December 20th 2019! It’s right before Christmas, so if you’re perhaps having trouble picking out a present for someone, well, there’s a suggestion for you!
*This is the planned release date for the International Edition of VBF on JAST USA’s website. Should the Steam review process end in a timely and favourable manner, it will be released at the same time as the JAST USA version.
Stretch Goal Character Disir Reveal
And now, the reveal that we are sure many of you have been eagerly awaiting, we present to you...The Golden Heroine, Disir!
"Don't you go relying on a dead woman, boy. Looks like I'm going to have to fix that attitude of yours!"
Perhaps some of you might be thinking...’Wait, she looks rather familiar’? Well, here’s a little tidbit for you. Her design concept is basically a gender-bent version of a certain other character, let’s see if you folks can guess who!
(Hint: In Norse mythology, who is technically the mother of Hel, Fenrir, and Jormungand?)
That being said, here’s a short introduction to the role she plays in VBFI.
“Once the Princess of the Utgardian Empire, she is the daughter of Surt and is Farba’s older sister. She is also the mother of Hel, Fenrir and Jorm.
In her prime, she was considered to be the heir who would succeed the throne of Utgard, and she was an unparalleled warrior with uncontested might.
Due to reasons known only to herself, she challenged Surt, who at the time was considered the strongest in all of the Demon Realm, to a fight, and died in a blaze of glory.”
Oh, by the way, below is one of the new BGM tracks to be added to the game titled “The Golden Heroine”.
Anyone want to take a guess as to whose leitmotif this will end up being?

Hujinon Doujinshi Sample
We have received a sample page of the doujinshi from Hujinon (ふじのん)(Twitter) and we would like to share it with you! (Post Translation and Typesetting) (NSFW Warning)
“The sample picture is censored with a cool sunglasses Loki, but the actual doujinshi will only feature the usual mosaics (with the exception of digital copies of the English version).”
As shown in the image used when announcing Hujinon Sensei’s doujinshi, the 2 characters featured are the loli goddesses, Odin and Rigret!

As mentioned in an early update while the Kickstarter was still ongoing, one of the characters chosen by one of our top backers who backed the Untold Tales of Yggdrasil tier was Odin!
And today, we would like to reveal Odin’s new standing portrait!
Doesn’t she look lovely in that wedding dress?
Some of you might be thinking “What’s this? Another goddess in a wedding dress?”
Well, we are here to tell you that hey, Odin being in a wedding dress is fine too! After all...
YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH LOVELY GODDESSES IN WEDDING DRESSES!
“This is a story that begins after Odin has joined Loki’s army. They’ve been getting along rather well, but it’s a busy time, and Loki has many important duties that require his attention. As a result, Odin is beginning to feel anxious at the fact that she has not been able to spend any time with him. It is then that a travelling merchant offers to sell her a “maiden’s battledress”, and she immediately buys it, hoping to attract Loki’s attention. Seeing Odin clad in a wedding dress, how will Loki react? Your choice may bring about unforeseen consequences and change the way you interact with Odin henceforth...”

The highest deity and protector of the holy land was born on the 1st day of the Light Moon Phase (2nd of October for us on Earth).
Now then, a simple introduction about the role Odin plays in VenusBlood FRONTIER.
“It is indeed my birthday today! I welcome you to celebrate it together with me. What? You would ask me how old I am as of today? Hmph, you uncouth fool, do you possess no tact? Asking a maiden such as myself how old she is is out of the question! Enough! Just come, and let us celebrate this happy occasion!”
Odin, the protector of the holy land of Valhalla and the highest deity who looks down on humanity from on high.
Leaving the protection of Yggdrasil to the 4 goddesses she created, she only descends to Yggdrasil whenever there is an emergency or something is in urgent need of her attention.
She was originally a god with the body of an adult and had overwhelming divinity which is often said to have been equal in power to Surt’s. After Ragnarok, and the creation of the Floating Continent of Yggdrasil as well as the creation of the 4 goddesses, she has exhausted all of her powers.
As a result, she has now reverted to a more youthful form, and has lost some of her memories of yore. She is a very rational and valorous god. If she deems something or someone to be evil, she will pass judgement on them without mercy.
